Open Cubicle Office Etiquette's



These are set of unwritten guidelines to enable everyone little privacy and reducing distraction. They are:-

Do not just barge in any ones cubicle and start talking.  Stand at the entrance and make your presence    known or knock gently on the wall.

Enter after the invites you start the conversation once he is ready to attend you.

In the  cubicle  concentrate  on your  business, peeping  into  his monitor, eavesdropping,  observing things  around  making   unwarranted  enquirers can annoy  the person.

Avoid long chats and jokes that can disturb neighbors.

Talk to visitors in low voice for confidential talks. Use the conference hail from specially while giving feedback and reprimanding someone.

Hush hush talk add to regular office grape vine.

Don’t shout on the phone.  Go out and talk. Keep phone conversation short.

Emotion like excitement and anger cause you to raise your voice without your knowledge, be conscious about it.

Keeps the ring tone low, going out of cubicle put your cell on silent mode, do not leave your cell   phone on the desk unattended.

Do not wait for phone to ring too many times before you pick up.

Keep your cubicle tidy. These effects your image people have it of you.

Resist temptations to eavesdrop your neighbor cubicle.

If your neighbor compromises on his etiquette's and causes you trouble act deliberately.
