 Lack of motivation from seniors, monotony in   the job of boredom will overwhelms you if you have been doing the same job for long.

Anticipating reward/recognition after slogging and somebody else is appreciated for the same or meeting the deadlines leads to feeling of being deceived and de-motivation.
