Effective leaders win All round Respect



Respect you command from your people defines 
your effectiveness as a leader.

You high profile qualifications must follow through 
with the right actions and professional behavior.

To win over the respect of your people following is 
suggested:-
          
Play fair
No favorites or showing discrimination.
Be honest and fair in all your dealings.
Avoid manipulations and misrepresentation of facts.
Give credit where due.
Exercise tolerance
Never lose control when things go wrong.
Ensure employer does not repeat the mistake.
Give push to their self confidence through support.
Show results 
 Deliver results to safeguard reputations
Set a personal example of high standard.
Accept failure gracefully to keep your reputation intact
If you will under pressure your reputation suffer.
Seek help 
Admitting something you do not know will not undermine your reputation. 
Seek help from experts to improve your competence.  
Be open to new ideas, knowledge and perspective.
Share views 
Creates working environment where people respect each other. 
Implement an open philosophy where everybody is welcome to  
share their views and give inputs.
Clearly define goals and objectives, roles and responsibilities.
All must be well aware of their duties and limits.
Individuals are more committed when there is less scope for
shifting blames onto others.
Too much control leads to resentment.  Too less leads to chaos. 
Must know when to hold and when to let go.
Grant your subordinates the freedom to use their creativity
with in broad standard.
Maintain consistency in your behavior and
keep it always align with your values.
Remember you always need a secure reputation.
