·
False nature
serves no purpose to all.
·
This false
nature is similar to Freud’s concept of the ego. Freud looked upon the ego as a
complex mechanical structure developed at the interface between the self and
the physical world. Ego is really formulated to be a servant of self.
·
The real
struggle in our search for self-victory is to change the nature of our
struggle. A whole new kind of action is called for. We must cease our struggles
to be victories over our perceived enemy and struggle instead to ally ourselves
with that which has already won the battle.
·
Dare to walk
away from all the familiar but useless mental and emotional relationships that
give you a temporary but unsatisfactory self. This form of seeming self-abandonment
eventually turns into your greatest pleasure. Only when you know, who you are
not will you know who you really are. Don’t be afraid of open spaces. Seek the
truth not security.
·
Hatred for anyone
or for anything destroys the one who hates. This is unequivocal spiritual law.
·
A man is not
what he possesses but is rather, what possesses him. And since it is possible
to choose what possesses you, which you start doing by refusing to be possessed
of dark spirits, this means you can choose in favor over and over again as many
times as necessary of what’s authentically good and true for you.
·
All negative
feelings are just illustrates of power, not real powers in and of themselves,
which frees us , is to challenge these states with our new and higher understanding
of their true nature.
·
All children must be disciplined. This doesn’t
mean punished by the supervising adults own strictness, strong correction,
unyielding direction. We don’t treat kid’s right, so that they grow and learn
right values because when the time comes for us to be right person, there is
residual wrongness in us Anger, fear, resentment. Rather than facing our own
weaknesses, we accept the child’s and hope that they will turn out right. It’s
necessary to accept a child’s short comings, but that child must not be allowed
to start accepting his or her negative states or acts as necessary.
·
Better then
which side to choose in a fight is living where there are no fights, no
conflict at all.
·
We begin to
change when we stop blaming reality, accept that it was our lack of
understanding that created the problem, and learn the lesson for next time.
·
We need to only
become aware, when we win the inner victory, no state or condition can conquer
us again.
·
The trial by
fire, regardless of appearances is always the same one. Put yourself two
questions daily :-
1. Does it make any sense to light myself on fire because
someone else, anyone else, insists on burning for whatever reason?
2. If someone else is on fire, already burning with
mental and emotional flames, what need do I have to punish that person further,
or to show that person the error of his or her ways.
·
You can’t have what’s
new and cling to the old. Letting go of ourself is the trial by fire. We must
do what is true even when we are sure it spells the end for who we’ve always
been.
·
We are only in
wrong relationship with others to the degree that we are trying to take
something from that relationship.
·
Desert winds
neither move nor disturb mountain pines.
