Black Color and Bouncers

Black is the perfect color, conservative, mysterious and engraved on the collective unconscious, thanks to all those old cow boy films.  The goodies always wear white and the baddies wear black.

Imagine if the white house was called the black house.  Everyone would think it was inhabited by the spirit of darkness.

White signifies purity and integrity.  Black intimidates, red shocks and paralyses, yellow attracts attention.  Green claims everything down and gives thing the go- ahead. Blue soothes.  Orange confuses.

Bouncers should wear black, so it was in the beginning and would be for ever after.  Fashion may review itself every six months but one thing remain the same bouncers always wear black.

Death

It is so easy to die.  The human body may well be one of the most efficient mechanism in creation but it takes a small metal projectile to enter and cut through it at a certain speed and that’s.

Death according to the dictionary is the end of a life (although life also needs to be properly defined), the permanent paralysis of the body’s vital functions, like brain activity, breathing, blood flow to and from the heart.  Only two things resist the permanent paralysis- the hair and the nails which continue to grow for a few days or week.

The definition changes when it comes to religion; for some, death means moving to a higher state while others believe that it’s merely a temporary condition and that the soul inhabiting the body will return later on, either to pay for its sins or to enjoy in the next life the blessing denied it during the previous incarnation.

Comment of Mr Bramha Prakash Gaur on my view

First, there is the "waking" state, we are so familiar with. Here, we are guided by two search engines - the senses and the mind. Through the day, our awareness is always flowing out. So, our senses too are always flowing out to our surroundings. They explore the surroundings and bring back to us inputs of sights, sounds, tastes and touch. These inputs are interpreted by our mind, according to its preferences (intelligence and ego). This is how we experience the outer world and form an impression.

No wonder, each day, we spend, is an exercise in pursuing activities that bring satisfaction to our senses and the mind. However, no matter how gratifying a day might have been, at the end of the day the senses get tired and do not want any gratification any more. This is the time for each one of us to dive within our own consciousness. The awareness, which has been flowing out through the day, reverses its direction and starts flowing in wards.

As a result, we are induced to lie down in bed, pull the covers up, close our eyes and go within. One by one, all the senses drop their activities. Sights and sounds and sensations of the outer world disappear. We do not know where we are in the physical world. Still for some time, the mind is active. Now, we become aware of what is contained in the mind.

This is the "dream" state, in which we are inhabiting the dream world. A creation of the mind, the dreams get shattered and are lost completely when we exit this state. Only we leave the dream state, do we realize that we were watching a dream.

Yet, dreams seem very real, when we are watching them. We may recall a  time, when you had a nightmare. It was so dreadful that we were jerked out of sleep. The terrifying situation, we found ourselves in, disappeared as we touched the waking state. Still, we had the heart, pounding in our chest; and the body covered with sweat. As long as we were in the dream state, the nightmare was absolutely real and affected us deeply at the emotional-physical level.

Every night, we travel still deeper within our consciousness. As we travel deeper within, even the mind falls asleep (becomes inactive). Now, we have lost all consciousness. This is the state of "deep sleep". It is also a state of no experience (akin to watching a movie,e every frame of which is black). In this world, we are used to seeking some or the experience all the time. So, the state of no-experience may seem like boring. Yet, if we stay in this state for some time, we come out of it back to "waking" state fully charged in the body and the mind.

Remember a night when one did not sleep well and kept watching dreams. When one got up the next morning how did his body and mind feel? Aching joints. Sluggish body. A mind that was tired and was just not ready to function.

This is why it is important to have good sleep and those who do have it are great performers. Also, they are healthy and happy.

When one is in deep sleep, one has no control over his body and mind. Yet, there is a power inside us that keeps the heart beating and the breath moving. This power is also very intelligent. Without any alarm, it knows when to wake us up. It also remembers our dreams for us and reminds us of those dreams when we wake up in the morning. So, deep sleep holds many secrets of good physical and mental health and well-being.

In deep sleep the breath becomes long, relaxed and rhythmic. These qualities are lost the moment one gets back to the waking state and the mind starts thinking.

Now sleep is quite close the death. In sleep and death both, the awareness of body and its surroundings is lost and the mind stops functioning.

In sleep, the awareness of the outer world returns back after the duration of sleep and we wake up in the same body in the same environment. In death, we do not know.

Therefore, if we investigate how we transit into sleep and how we come out of it, we are investigating death. Those, who undertake this investigation, may find that it is a worthwhile and rewarding exercise.

The process is simple. Observation! Enhanced awareness is the key!!

Normal Person

His works requires discipline, routine, negotiating skills and planning.  Many of his friends say that he’s become more of a loner, what they don’t know is that he is always been a loner.  Going to parties wedding and pretending to enjoy playing golf on Sundays was merely part of his professional strategy.  He’s is always loathed the social whirl, with all those people concealing behind their smiles the real sadness in their souls.

He understands that the super class are as dependent on their success as an addict is on his drugs, and nowhere near as happy as those who wants nothing more than a house a garden, a child playing, a plate of food on the table and a fire in winter.  Are the latter aware of their limitations and do they know, that life is short and wonder what point there is in going on.

The super class tries to promote its values. Ordinary people complain of divine injustice, they enjoy power, and it pains them to see others having fun.  They don’t understand that no one is having fun, that everyone is worried and insecure and that what the jewels, cars and fat wallets conceal is a huge inferiority complex.
What’s the point of buying a ridiculously expensive shirt when no one is going to see the label anyway?  What’s the point of frequenting fashionable restaurants if nothing of interest is said there?

They are so cultivated, so very rich and so utterly charming. And at the end of each day, they all ask themselves, is it time I stopped? And they all reply, if I did there would be no meaning to my life, as if they actually knew what the meaning of life was.

It is one thing to plan the sacrifice of certain people, quite another to have the capacity and the courage to carry it out.  Temptation said that we all dreams of committing crimes, but only the unbalanced make that macabre idea a reality.

He is always been able to make difficult decisions and to see things through.  He endured in silence the threat made by various individuals and groups and reacted discreetly when he felt strong enough to rid himself of the people threatening him.  He had learned to exercise enormous self control so as not to be left traumatized by bad experience.  He never takes his fear home with him.

Narendra Modi Becoming Prime Minister of India

The carnage in Gujarat the Mahatma’s home state, in early 2002, and the subsequent land slide victory of Narendra Modi spelt disaster for our country.  The foxiest agenda of Hindu fanatics is unlike anything India has experienced in its modern history. The saffron ride is rising and it destroying the nation.  For the first time one is security concerned for the country’s future.

Modi is a murderer.  Advani and Modi have a symbiotic relationship.  They help each other.  Modi helps Advani with elections from Ghandinagar and Advani in turn exonerates him from the charges of the 2002 Gujarat riots. It’s the natural consequence of Advanis genius that he is now reduced to insignificant size by his creation only. Soon after the Babri Mosque was destroyed one question hunts the mind, How many more mosques will be now destroyed? What about the repercussion? Hasn’t the atmosphere been fouled forever? The killing of Christian  in khandharmal, Muslims in Gujarat, the Bangalore pub incident,  the venom in Varun Gandhi speech.  If you spare such intolerant people full of hatred you breed many more, but we never seem to punish the culprits who are fouling the atmosphere.

Advani Rathyatra from Somnath to Ayodhya leading to the destruction of the Babri Masjid on Dec 06, 1992 was the one event that pitch forked him to the centre stage and reshaped India politics.  Advani more than anyone else sensed that Islamophobia was deeply ingrained in the mind of millions of Hindus and it needed only a spark to set it ablaze. How ever, the BJP got what it wanted.  It reaped a rich electoral harvest, winning many of the elections that followed and eventually installed Bajpayee, a Prime Minister and LK Advani, his deputy.

At least Manmohan Singh apologized in Parliament for what was done to the Sikhs in 1984.  The BJP should similarly apologize for the Babri Masjid demolition and for the Muslim massacre in the 2002 Gujarat riots.  One thing that has dictated the parties that preach Hindutwa their one motivating factor has been Islamophobia. Their agenda has been anti Muslim and they have been united in that.

Earlier the CA was blamed for all our problems.  Once when some students clashed with the police over cinema tickets, Zail Singh said the CIA had a hand in it.  Now it is the ISI and Pakistan mind you, is using the same strategy.  There they blame RAW for all their problems.  It is not the just a Hindu Muslim problems nor a Hindu Christian one, we have become intolerant. We have no compassion  or understanding for those who are different from us.

The hate propaganda against the Christians and Muslims false theories that the christian population is going up because of conversions. When in fact, the reality is that the Christian population in India has actually gone down.  And the Sangh capitalizing on old prejudice about Muslims that they are multiplying at an alarming rate, where as the census figure clearly show that the rate of the growth of the Hindu population has always been higher.  Since independence in almost every riot, the Muslims loss of life and property has been almost ten times that of the Hindu.  It will be the sad day for the country, if Muslims have to survive like the Hindus and Christian’s minorities do in Pakistan.

I am not optimistic but one should fight one should make every single effort to save the country and openly challenge and take on the men who are creating trouble and destroying the country. We have to battle with them at any cost give it back to them abuse by abuse.  If we love our country we have to save it from these communal forces be it Hindus or Muslims. I keep wondering how more than 80 percent of the population can be threatened by 13 percent of weak, defeated minority living in inebriated state of its past glories.

Impossible Politicians

Doctors look at the test results which are completely at odds with what they believe the actual illness to be, and must then decide whether to trust science or their hearts.  They learn with time and experience to give more weight to their instinct and they find that the outcomes for their patients improve.

Successful businessmen prove over graphs and diagrams then go completely against the market trend and grow still richer.

Artists write books or films about which everyone says” that won’t work.  No one is interested in things like that and end up becoming icons of popular culture.
Religious leaders preach fear and guilt rather than love, which should in theory, is the most important thing in the world and their congregations swell.

Only one group consistently fails against the current trend.  Politicians they want to please everyone and stick rigidly to the rules of political correctness.  They end up having to resign, apologies or contradict themselves.
